Thanks for the answer: a nice trick.
I have another question related to this:
Is there a way/macro that finds and highlights identical words on a document?
Thanks.

Re: Anne Cuneo
RIP.
Her last post on the forum dates last September, I believe. A very well known Swiss writer, she died at the age of 80. Who says that technology belongs to the youngest?

Re: Future viability of Nisus
To be more precise rtf has been developed by Microsoft. The same company decided not to improve it. Apple decided that rtf would not be allowed on the iOS and dropped from Pages.

Re: Future viability of Nisus
This is the big issue not only with Nisus but also with Devon and Scrivener, the three best soft for Mac. They depend completely on rtf, but the rtf engine of apple is crippled, meaning it does not retain style definitions. If you apply for instance a defined character style to a word with Nisus and...

Re: Macro for RTF to Markfown
There is already a macro for converting table to markdown. Please do a search on this forum. It would be easy to do a conversion from rtf to a markdown text. I think that there are only five "styles" to convert: 1. headings 2. Paragraphs (from a single paragraph to two paragraphs) 3. itali...

Search Parenthesis
A quick and very easy question: In a file I have few occurrences of text between parenthesis. How do I perform a find of the text with parenthesis? For Instance in this text: TTT: Shoah e cultura visuale in ItaliaOOO:Damiano Garofalo (Università di Padova, Fondazione Museo della Shoah)Luca Peretti (...

Re: index markup
Thank you for your kind answer.
For index code I mean this:
Here is a sentence with Galileo{XE “Galileo“} indexed.
The code is {XE “Galileo“}. It is visible in Word and may be useful…
Thanks again.

Re: index markup
Thank you! It was really hidden.
1. Preferences
2. Appearance
3. Look down on the list and choose
4. Marked text
5. Deselect Hide in Include Index
___
I still do not know if it is possible to see the code: in Word you can see and edit the code.
Have a nice day.

index markup
Sorry if this question has been asked, but I did not find an answer on the forum.
1. How do I recognized visually that a word has been indexed?
2. Is there a way to see the code used to mark a word as a index item?
Thank you
