Re: How to turn off hyphenation for good?
Unfortunately, it still doesn't work for me - at least as far as I've been able to evaluate it in the short time since the release. When I'm using NWP 2.1 with my machine which is running on OS 10.10.2, setting "Hyphenation" to "Manual" doesn't help. It still refuses to insert hy...

How to turn off hyphenation for good?
From the very start of NWP, I had troubles with (German) hyphenation. A very useful macro fixed the problem and I've been using the macro (and NWP) happily and gratefully since then. However, since upgrading to OS 10.10.1 (I think), the hyphenation engine seems to make trouble again, forcing hyphens...

Re: Soft hyphen doesn't show
Pierre, useeger, You might want to install the "Insert Hyphen (non breaking)" and "Insert Hyphen (soft)" macros from the macro repository's "Editing" category. Look it up at http://nisus.com/pro/macros/?activeCat=Editing. I've done this myself (I'm also writing in Germa...

Good idea!
Working with Adobe InDesign at the office, I've got used to and to like the "select unused styles" and then "delete unused styles" feature.

Re: Do you support Nisus issuing more frequent NWP bug-fixes
While I generally support more frequent bug-fixes, I'd be content if we got updated regularly on fixed bugs, like in kind of a bulletin stating, e.g., "fixed: bug A", "fixed: bug B", etc. so that we know what to expect from the next release. Regarding the frequency of bug-fixes, ...

Re: Margins outside printable area
Recently I've run into a problem that at least seems to be related. I've created 2 templates: one for novels I'm writing, and another one for other texts, e.g. for letters, etc. In the first template, the text is scaled to 75% and the paper size is set to "JIS B5". In the second template, ...

Re: Margins outside printable area
BTW - is there any progress re. solving the issue of "margins outside the printable area"? I mean - for the time being I can live with just "seeing" my documents as they are displayed in page view while I'm working on them but some day I'll have to print them and I'm wondering if...

Re: Margins outside printable area
I've had the same situation danslation described. My documents are scaled to 75%. I could re-scale them to 100% but that would be really time-consuming... Glad to learn that there is indeed an issue and that it's in the process of being fixed. Maybe I can help clarifying the situation by providing t...

Swap Columns of A Table
Hi all, Is there a trick to swap the columns of an table? What I want to do: I've got a table with 2 columns, A (left side) and B (right side). Now I want column A to become column B (i.e. to move to the right side) and vice versa. Is there a way to do that without copying and pasting the whole text...

Re: Change the arrangement of styles in the "Styles" palette
Thanks, Mark, for the quick reply.
I think I've found a workaround: Re-naming the styles in a numerical order, e.g., 01 Style Z, 02 Style A, and so on.
But maybe a "group styles" feature could be added somewhere in a future release...

Change the arrangement of styles in the "Styles" palette
Is there any way to change the arrangement of styles in the "styles" palette or, for that matter, in the style sheet view? They seem to be automatically listed in alphabetical order without regard to the order of creation. Now, I would like to "shuffle" that order in order to (re...

Re: Deceitful Sales Messages-
rmark, exegete77 - Now you've put a bug into my ear... Why didn't I know of this earlier?! The more I read about it, the more intriguing I find the concept of "beat time". I've downloaded a "beat" app to my iPhone and now I'm looking for the same thing for my MacBook. Actually, I...

Zulu time method Intriguing. Please tell us more. Or is that too far off topic? Actually, Zulu time is more or less the same as UTC which the forum uses. So, no secrets here. However, when I was in the military (and in Germany it's the same as, I think, in other NATO countries), we used "Zulu ...

Re: 2.0.2 update failed
I've got one question: What are we talking about here, exactly: Is there a new version of NPW 2.0 or is this still the 2.0.1 public beta that has been around for a while now?
BTW is there a date for the publication of the final version of 2.0.1?
