Re: Columns
I am relatively new to Nisus so forgive me if this is a dumb question. I am preparing a paper with two or three columns. I want to break the columns so the corresponding left and right hand sides will match each other in length. How do I do this? When I tried to insert a column break text on the le...

Re: Fixed line height
I am surprised that you lay the blame for not supporting this on Apple's text layout engine: Word supports this feature (although I abominate using Word), and the last release of Word Perfect for Mac (V. 3.5.4, a ten year old program) also supports it. Micro$oft Wierd and Word Perfect, both use the...

BUT I have been wondering about Nisus Writer Express 6.5 that they used to make the NWE User's Guide. That version must have table of contents and indexing? Nisus Writer Classic, you mean ....

Re: need help switching to French layout
Is there a reference that someone can point me to to see which keys map to which French accented letters? Any documentation on using Nisus to write in another language would be appreciated as well. I am trying to switch betwen writing in French and writing in English but I am not having much luck. ...

You can do an archive and install of the OS and make sure you install the extra fonts. Not that attractive because of the amount of time I would need to make sure everything else in the system was transferred across. Alternately, you *may* be able to *only* install the fonts package of the OS, but ...

As a long time fan of both NWE and OmniGraffle and fully paid-up user of both--and so someone for whom LinkBack is the bees knees--for any drawing as such I will always use OG and LinkBack, and very much look forward to the day when NWE will be able to flow text round graphics. But on the other hand...

Only sort of O/T ...
... but as the software it involved almost entirely is NWE, and you guys are geniuses--with or without bananas :D ... Since moving to this new machine--17" MacBook Pro! Yummy!--and, for reasons that are of no consequence, re-installing the whole system, software, etc., I seem to have lost my Si...
