Re: Select All in Highlight
that command (actually a property, but who's keeping track) I'm all for using the right terminology, so thanks for reminding me, and thanks for the examples. I think one difference to Kino's macro is that his macro enables one to find and select any Highlighted and any Background color as well as c...

Re: Select All in Highlight
[Is it] possible to create a macro that selects All in Highlight. I think Kino's macro "SelectByColor" does exactly that. The ugly bit is that it prompts the user with color objects which are hard to read. I think Kino has a nice solution to this problem. He offers the option "Show S...

Re: Search/find any Hebrew characters
Another easy way is to use AnyHebrew from the Scripts/Blocks menu.
You can also use "\p{Hebrew}" (without quotation marks) if you are comfortable with PowerFind Pro.

Re: Error message using Nisus on a Synology NAS
Hello David, Before I read your post I knew nothing about Synology NAS, so I'm very grateful for you taking the time to share your experience with us. I'd asked the tech company […] for a system that would allow me to synchronise my two computers (a desktop and a portable) without having recourse to...

Re: repeating characters vs. display of character accents
Does the problem persist? Then try the Terminal command described in the links below. Creating a pristine new user account is also always a good idea to find out whether something has got corrupted in your current user account. If the problem goes away, you can migrate to the new account and delete ...

Bare as a baby's behind concerning this phenomenon. I would first try TinkerTool . What is TinkerTool? "TinkerTool is an application to access selected preference settings of your personal user account which are not visible in System Preferences. The tool never changes any part of the operatin...

I can't locate the macro that the repository entry claims to link to. The macros are named "Find in All Open Documents" and "Replace in All Open Documents". If you have difficulties finding them you can choose the menu command 'Show Macros Folder in Finder' from the Macro menu a...

Re: EDITING IN SPIT VIEW
Hello Paieye, Maybe there is some misunderstanding going on here. Nisus has a feature called "Split View", and this is used to get two (or more) views of the same document. But the macOS has also an inbuilt separate feature called Split View mode . This feature is sometimes referred to as ...

Re: Request: Everything a style!
Instead of asking for styles that expand automatically into a set of instructions to perform a particular task, why don't you just use macros instead? Isn't that what macros are for?NWP asks me to do too many things.

Don't know if you created this, but well done! This image can now be found all over the Internet, but I have never seen the artist mentioned. Re: Finding document content in the Document Manager
Locking the file in Finder > Get Info does work. Thanks for your suggestion, Bob, but for clarification, are you referring here to files that were saved as Rich Text Files? If yes, then I have already tried that, but it's a bit tedious; you end up with two open documents, the duplicate and the orig...

Re: Page numbers and sections
You can click into the header, insert a text box, and then insert an automatic page number into the text box. […] You can now freely move the text box wherever you want, including the margin areas. Hey, this is really cool! I had no idea that position margin numbers could be that easy. Nisus (and y...
