Re: NW for iPad?
[...] I wouldn't want Nisus to lose time on an iOS app, because this would steal time from their core business - maintaining the best wordprocessor for the Mac. [...] On the moment it would be more convenient for me if Nisus was capable of exporting to ePub format somehow (macros?), because ePub pr...

Re: NW for iPad?
The more I look at it, the more I think the iPad is something other than just a computer. I don’t think it’s more than a computer. It’s just something else. Indeed, for me the iPad is a sort of extension of my 'normal' computer, that can be used 'unattached' to it. BUT, be careful when saying the i...

Re: NW for iPad?
Yes, I would prefer a MacBook Air too, of course -- if the price was the same as an iPad... On the moment I make do with the Notes app on the iPad for text writing, because it synchronizes well with the Notes portion of Apple Mail. Unfortunately, Notes on the iPad is very limited and restricted to a...

Re: NW for iPad?
[...] In fact some more extensive research reveals that sofar NO app is able to edit .RTF files. Can't imagine it to be difficult, but it would really help me out, and others I wouldn't wonder. Indeed, I discovered the same after I bought an iPad. Expected there would be a simple but decent text ed...

Re: Spreadsheet — which one + integration?
I use Tables too, and like it very much,
also because it is good in exchanging the Excel documents
from other people that I work with.
LinkBack feature would indeed be a nice feature.

Re: Desired NWP1.2 Features
One of old Nisus's features I pine for was the ability to search a lot of docs at once and then see all the results with each showing a line of the text found surrounding the search term. This was very useful! I am experimenting with iVerbum for this but it wants to make big indexes and that seems ...

Re: New release of "Tables" with LinkBack feature
No problem!
Good to be informed anyway that Tables is going to have this feature.
I already use Linkback a lot for drawings from Lineform,
and I am sure it will prove valuable for me with Nisus too,
also because I am using Tables more and more
the better I learn to work with it.

Re: New release of "Tables" with LinkBack feature
Thank you for this information,
but are you sure this already works for 1.4.6? (1.5 is supposed to have it)
And if so, how?

Thanks Martin, but I think there still is a problem, when I want to apply the Macro, il tells me there is an error in the first line. Am I missing something here? Did you save it as a Nisus Macro? As for example: Number Lines.nwm Saved as a Perl Macro it gave that error with me too. Now if I could ...

line numbering
This macro renumbers line too, if they are already numbered.Anne Cuneo wrote:[...]
Before I use it: what is this “number renumber” section?
Should be saved as a Nisus Perl macro, and yes it can affect formatting of the text.
But it works, for me (the other one from Martin doesn't work well.)

Number Renumber Lines
I happen to have this Number Renumber Lines macro: #Nisus Macro Block #source front selection #destination front selection #End Nisus Macro Block use strict; binmode(STDIN, ":utf8"); binmode(STDOUT, ":utf8"); my $count = 1; my $start = 1; while (my $line = <STDIN>) { $line =~ s/[...
