Bug or feature: Tools tray not updating after selection
I'm having some trouble with the tools tray. When I move to or select something in a different section, everything in the tools tray seems to be stuck on/in Section 1. So if I want to change some text or something somewhere else, I must find the choice in a menu, not in the tray ... Never experience...

Re: Tri-fold brochure template
Thanks! But I guess this will try to print outside the printer margins(?), and I do want some margins on each "third-part-page". I guess doing the math is the deal. Like, if I want a 14 mm (or 12 or 13 or something) margin on each page-part. What would have to be the Width and Gutter for e...

Tri-fold brochure template
Hi! I am about to make a simple tri-fold A4 brochure. I was about to do it in Pages, which has pre-defined templates for this, but I much prefer Nisus, so I think I will make it there. But I am a little unsure of how to get it correct. I need to split the landscape A4 page in 3. But if I just make t...

Re: Comments/notes and interoperability w/MS Word & OOo Writ
NWP is by far the best word processor I've ever used. For my everyday writing or school/university paper writing on my Mac, it's amazing, let's me focus on the tasks at hand. (All other word processors seems to "get in the way" for me.) For collaboration with other's, it's most of the time...

Re: NW for iPad?
To my needs, Documents To Go has been sufficient as for capabilities, except for the fact that I have to open my Nisus documents on a computer with Microsoft Word and save as a .doc or .docx file from there to be able to open the file for editing on my iPad (or iPhone) ... I'm not sure what triggers...

Re: NW for iPad?
That'll teach me to not look at a feature properly before advising it. Sorry, guys. In fact some more extensive research reveals that sofar NO app is able to edit .RTF files. Can't imagine it to be difficult, but it would really help me out, and others I wouldn't wonder. I found NoteMaster, that ed...

Re: NW for iPad?
Just a tip: don't use Pages, use Docs to Go or QuickOffice connect on the iPad: both of them will do RTF (and properly), and both will sync with Dropbox. I have my Nisus documents folder on Dropbox, and I can access that with Docs to Go. Works like a dream. Between Docs 2 Go and Quickoffice Connect...

Re: What about: "Export/Save as ePub"
I just got an iPad in January. I use it mainly for browsing, dictionary/encyclopedia lookups and reading (papers, scanned documents, books, lots of stuff not suitable on the iPhone's smaller screen, but nice to be able to read without using the laptop or printing lots of pages/bringing binder's). I ...

Re: Spreadsheet — which one + integration?
Tables looks pretty good. Nice and simple access to most stuff. (Though it would be cool if the stuff I find in the inspector could be part of the tool-drawer thingy on the right — like in NWP). It would be cool with LinkBack, though, so I could create reports and such that updates graphs/tables fro...

Spreadsheet — which one + integration?
Hi! NWP has really impressed me, and now I actually look forward to writing (instead of dreading the fight with the Word Processor that used to "get in the way", which has often been my experience earlier on) ... So now I wonder if there could be a nice spreadsheet out there as well? (I ac...

Re: Would you want Nisus Writer to support the ePub file format?
I would also find export to eReader (.pdb) useful, even more so than ePub for my part.

Re: Comments/notes and interoperability w/MS Word & OOo Writer
Thanks for your quick reply! :) I hadn't realized that "Save As" Word format was not the same as the "Export to" binary Word format. But with the binary Word format, the comments/notes showed up in OpenOffice.org Writer and I assume it will show up correctly in MS Word as well. S...

Comments/notes and interoperability w/MS Word & OOo Writer
Hi! I was testing out some features in Nisus Writer Pro for a friend of mine. (He is frustrated with Word, looking for alternatives.) One of the features I tested, was adding Comments, and that works well – at first glance. If I add comments and save my document as a Word 97 (.doc) file, it opens wi...
