my daughter who is 10 noticed this and I confirmed it yesterday - there was a word that she mispelled and when she checked it it never found it but went on to the next word even though it was highlighted. same happened to me. I put the cursor maybe 4 lines above the error and it found it the 2nd try...

Ok thanks - I never used the ruler to adjust anything - always used spaces with other apps and it worked as far as i can remember. does the ruler only adjust for the said lines? or the whole page/document? I am new to Nisus Writer and Pro too. I have not had a chance sue to my schedule and job to get into the higher end of this app, moslty basic notes and text stuff; but I am very impressed too.

Wish I had found and researched this app earlier.

Ok - there are probably other ways or formats to save in OO or Neo that wil enable nisus to read it - I will have to check when i get Mint linux loaded on the laptop.
