Hi Mark
Thanks for the input. I'll work on this next day or so and let you know when it's done.

Re: Export to DOCX Error
Hi Martin,
First, didn't know there was a Mac option for the conversion. Very cool. But, sadly, even with that changed and a restart, I'm still getting the same error.
Thanks
Lou

Export to DOCX Error
Hi there,
I'm getting the error below when trying to export to DOCX on Macbook Pro M1. I've restarted, and reinstalled NWP. I do not have Rosetta, but Libre Office says they're Apple Silicon compatible.
Many thanks,
Lou

Re: Macro to Insert Screenplay Character
Thanks Martin. The only caveat I found—which I think is specific to this situation—the paragraph style is set to Uppercase which is display only in Nisus. Which means (as you know) if a name is typed uppercase or lowercase it will always display uppercase. But .containsValue is case sensitive so I w...

Macro to Insert Screenplay Character
This macro creates a list from a paragraph style so the text can be inserted again. The use case is when writing in screenplay format. Some clever people will undoubtedly think of other ways to use this macro. My profound thanks to @phspaelti for guidance on the core aspects of this macro. Screen Sh...

Re: Select and put in array.
Philip,
This is amazing, thank you so much. You have saved me a ton of time and you've educated me on how some of the more advanced macro features work. Very much appreciated.

Select and put in array.
Hello
I am trying to find all occurrences of text in a paragraph style and put them in an array. I have the regex part just fine, creating an array with the found or selected text is eluding me. For example if I wanted to put all occurrences of Heading 1 in an array.
Thanks
Lou

Happy New Year Martin and Philip
Thank you for the explanations. What a useful character class, it has inspired me to re-think my approach to some of my macros.

Mark, Thanks for letting me know. I forgot a # in front of the comment line. It works now.

Convert to Markdown
Inspired by the To Markdown macro by @tomoyuki-kosaka. This version is a little lighter weight. It doesn't support converting tables because tables in markdown are ridiculous. I wrote this so I can take what I write in Nisus and post it to my markdown only blog. It coverts the document then copies t...

Re: Select a list as a group.
Philip, I had to take a few weeks to re-familiarize myself with the macro language after being gone from it for awhile. Your suggestion has really helped on multiple levels. I'd love to know something. You recommended: Find and Replace '\X+', "\n
\n\\0
\n\n", 'Eas' What is the \X st...

Re: Expandable Image References
I see the Draft View as the writing content only with the Page View as the layout. From my perspective writing an editing would go a bit faster if there is an option to suppress images relegating them to text indicators. That said, I'm incorporating images into a Nisus document for the first time as...

Expandable Image References
I have an idea to offer for discussion. An option to display images as text references in the Draft view. Possibly be able turn this feature on and off. Something like:
Switching to Page View would display the image.
I'd love your thoughts.
Thanks
Lou

Clipboards, Paste From Any Clipboard
This is a rewrite of a macro I posted ages ago. This version is better, cleaner, and more reliable. It grabs the first 60 characters of each clipboard and puts them in a list to select and paste as plain text. There's a user option you can set to paste as formatted text.
