This bug and a few others have been fixed for 2.6.1 beta 2. Give it a try if you've got an Intel machine or Panther 10.3.9.gemboy27 wrote:I can create a new palette group, but I can not add to it.

We pay midwinter for his services by sending him old Nisus Writer Classic swag
But just to be clear: we don't pay any beta testers for their work. And we certainly don't employ anyone to be a forum regular... well, except Dave, Mark, and I. But unfortunately we all have other duties as well.

I'm not sure what you mean when you say you replaced one untitled document with another. But if you've done a Save or Save As over an existing document, there is probably very little you can do to retrieve the original copy. The automatic backups are saved in your home folder, to the location: ~/Doc...

Honestly I'm not sure it would be worth the effort, as the universal binary is just a few megabytes larger than the PPC only version.Cletus Awreetus-Awrightus wrote:do you think you could make two separate versions—a PPC and FAT? Or is it too much trouble? It would save the bandwidth for you and for us.

A universal binary of Express is ready for testing:

It's quite speedy on our Intel iMac, a definite improvement. We also have a version of Nisus Thesaurus for you.

Express for Intel (official 2.6.1 beta thread)
Hi everybody, just after our 2.6 beta, here we go again! We've made a "universal binary" version of Express. This version will run on all those new Intel machines, but besides that, will have no new features. You can download a beta here: http://nisus.com/Express/beta/ For those poor souls...

Re: opening Nisus
Is there a way I can set Nisus 2.6 to open to the last document I was working on? Yes, just check "Reopen previously open documents on launch". That option can be found in our General preferences. And can it be set to open where I left the insertion point? This should happen automatically...

Re: Which is the better place for submitting bugs?
midwinter has got it: the Feedback dialog is the best place for us to hear about your problems. If you feel inclined to post about your issue in the forum, because you'd like a discussion, probably it would be best to make one thread per issue. And what's wrong with "dissapeared"? ;) Yeah,...
