why is it so important to have an RTF-file with inline images compatible with InDesign?
It is my experience that people working with InDesign want to have the text and images in separate (original) files anyway?

Re: editing html as plain txt - works in express but not in
[...] Is there a way around this? yes, changing the file extensions from .html to .txt and back after editing. Or open the html file with TextEdit, copy the text to a Nisus .txt file (with the same name possibly) edit and copy and paste back in the .html file. Inconvenient, I admit, but this is the...

thanks!
now this is time saving macro that brings back some of the special functionality of the Nisus 'Classic' (3-6), that I really missed since NWE. Great!
You should put this macro in the macro repository, so that others can find it easy too?

alternative macro?
perhaps an alternative for your 'Form Paragraphs' macro is this:
Code: Select all
Find and Replace '(.) *\n(.)', '\1 \2', 'aEs' #concatenates lines

workaround
A more convenient 'workaround' for me -- so far -- has been to combine perl in a macro like this: Find and Replace '[\t ]+$', '', 'aE' #Remove trailing white space Find and Replace ' +', ' ', 'aE' #Replace multiple spaces with one Begin Perl #Nisus Macro Block #source front selection #destination fr...

Cleaning up punctuation
I also use this "Cleaning up punctuation" macro a lot, and have made several adjustments and additions too, but the limiting thing is that I cannot make this macro work properly on selected text only, using 'aEs' as options? Therefore I still use the old perl macro "Common Regexp Proc...

Mac OS X - Unicorn ?
If it is as fast or (preferably) faster, has less bugs and is more stable, doesn't use more memory, is easier to customize (not talking about appearance but about functionality), then I would welcome an upgrade and don't even mind paying for it.

If nothing selected macro command?
How can I 'force' a (Nisus perl) macro to _only_ run on selected text and, when there is no text selected, to not run at all?
I have found that the "Common Regexp Processing" macro needs such a line, because it reproduces the text when used for the second time without any text selected...
