Feature Request: Projects
Forgive me if this not where feature requests go, but I couldn't find anywhere else. I would love to see Document Manager give way to something more akin to Projects in Textmate or Scrivener. This is basically a group of files you associate within the program together. I know there are plenty of oth...

Quick find
one of the features i like most about plain old fashioned text editors is that you can call up the find/replace dialogue, enter what you want it to find, it moves you to that word, and then the find box disappears automatically. it just saves you the annoyance of having to close the find box yoursel...

You might want to try TextExpander which is not free, but works well with Nisus Pro (as far as I know) and is well suited to holding many, many glossary items.

Non-styled Glossary Entry
It seems like you can't insert text from a glossary without it coming along with a style. The problem is that this overrides the style in the document. Suppose I want to insert the glossary entry Peterson. How do I make it so Peterson will be formatted in the existing style of the paragraph? Thanks.

Macro to Delete Unitl End of Sentence

I need a macro that will deletete from the cursor to the end of the sentence (i.e. the period).
Any advice?
Thanks.

Macros to Apply Styles
Now that I am a full-fledged Nisus Pro license holder (yeah!), I feel more qualified to pester Martin for macro advice. I am looking to create a macro that applies a particular style to certain text. So, for example, if a paragraph begins with a "(" I want Nisus to apply the style "Pa...

Autocompletion doesn't work
This is strange, but for whatever reasons the auto-complete feature in Nisus Pro doesn't work the way it's supposed to. For example: Type the phrase "Armenian bizarre" in Textedit. Now type "Arm" and activate auto-complete (escape key). The first word that pops up is Armenian. It...

Macro to Traspose Characters
I want to write a macro where it changes the order of two letters. So if the cursor is between the 't' and 'h' in the word 'the' and I trigger the macro, the word will change to 'hte'. I have written the following macro: $locationofcursor = selection location Select Start Set Selection $locationofcu...

What to do about Word's track changes feature?
My colleague just sent me a Word document in which she'd tracked changes. I opened it up in Nisus and both the original and the changed version were joined together--in other word a mess.
Is there nothing that can be done?
Thanks.

Question about Edit--->Complete Feature
I used to use Textmate as my word processor and it has allowed you to strike the escape key and get suggestions to complete the word. However, Textmate had the capacity to scan the document you were working on and use it to suggest words. For example, suppose I have typed the name Dopplestern in the...

Yes, this works, though it's a bit sluggish. I have a question though: why does Nisus make macros so tough? Most word processors give you the option to record keystrokes and create macros that way. I know writing them by hand gives you more complexity, but why not also let newbies like myself with l...

A simple macro to convert case
Forgive me if this is in the manual, but I cannot figure out how to do it. I want to create a macro that consists of two steps: 1) the character to the right of the cursor is selected 2) that character's case is made lowercase. It's nice not to have to select the character every time I want to chang...
