Re: Shortcut (menu key) for "Open Recent"?
Thanks, Hamid, that does clarify things a bit. Maybe Martin will weigh in with comments on getting the Document Manger's list to match the File > Open Recent list. Otherwise, I think I've got all the info I need for work with 10.6.8. Thanks for taking the time to walk me through all of this!

Re: Shortcut (menu key) for "Open Recent"?
…recent documents appear listed. And I have that set to 20 files. However, when I Ctrl click on the NWP icon, I don't get that full list of recent files. I'm on 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard), if that makes a difference. In the screenshot, you'll see what I'm getting now. Obviously, I can select "Show ...

Re: Shortcut (menu key) for "Open Recent"?
If you Control-click the Nisus app icon in the Dock, recent documents appear listed. Great! That is a help, and I didn't know that. Unfortunately, when I just did that, only one document is listed in that list, but when I go to NWP 2.0.4 and look at "Open Recent", there are probably about...

Shortcut (menu key) for "Open Recent"?
Hi, I like to keep my hands on the keyboard. I find it cumbersome to have to use the trackpad to get to the list of recent files to open the one I want to work on now. Is there a way to assign a menu key (shortcut) to "Open Recent" so I could then just move down it via the arrow keys? I tr...

Re: Macro to make digits superscript and add non-breaking sp
I think what you were saying is that the Paragraph Style didn't transfer. That's maybe probably because it opened a new file that did not yet have that style in it. I opened the macro file, added the Paragraph Style, applied it. It works! I think the case is closed! :) Thanks so much for your patien...

Re: Macro to make digits superscript and add non-breaking sp
Strangely enough, the find-replace regex is working fine (see screenshot). However, I macroized it, and the macro doesn't find anything to change. Also, it seems to me the macro doesn't have the attributes included.
More sage advice? By the way, thanks, Philip, for all your help!

Re: Macro to make digits superscript and add non-breaking sp
I think I'm getting somewhere now, but I've never seen (nor do I now see) a "Superscript" menu item in the Format menu. I've always used the Character pallette. I don't really want to create a character style and have to deal with that, too. Am I just missing the "Superscript" co...

And silly me! I had no idea I could do that. But it works! Thanks!! Case closed.

Thanks, Philip. That helps.
But why do I only have "Remove Attributes Except Styles" in the Format menu (see screenshot attached)?

Re: macro to strip out (delete) all footnotes
My version of Nisus comes with a pre-installed macro in the macro menu: "NoteConversions > Convert Footnotes to Inline Snippets" Well, Philip, mine apparently didn't. Under "Editing" in Macros I have "Convert Notes to text", but that's not what I want. I just want to t...

Re: Macro to make digits superscript and add non-breaking sp
Just apply the formatting in the usual way :) Well, I admit I felt silly for not thinking of that, especially since I was able to figure out the Cmd-NBS part. However, I'm afraid I'm going to have to admit to a more severe case of inability here: I tried to format the target text. As soon as I clic...

macro to strip out (delete) all footnotes
How would I go about making a macro to delete all footnotes? I want the markers in the main text gone and the associated text at the bottom of the page. Probably I should have one for endnotes, too, or just one that does both.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Macro to make digits superscript and add non-breaking space
I would like to make a macro that will render in superscript sequences of digits (from 1 to 3 digits). These sequences of digits always occur with a space before and after them. I want the space after them to be changed to a non-breaking space. The attached screenshot shows what I came up with. It c...

Re: List question
That's what I did: Ctrl-Opt-Cmd-N and it zaps it so there are no list attributes assigned to that paragraph. I also assigned Ctrl-Opt-Cmd-R to "Format > Lists > Restart Numbering". Works great. You might also assign the menu Lists > Use None a keyboard shortcut, if you wanted.

Re: Macro Menu showing doubles
This problem comes and goes on my machine, too (OS 10.6.8 running Nisus WP 2.0.4). If I close NWP and restart, the "visual mosquito" goes away.
