In Nisus Writer Express you'll need to do the work manually, eg: use a search expression to find these breaks, copy-paste the content to a new file, and save it yourself. In Nisus Writer Pro it would be possible to create a macro to do the work for you I think. I'd need to know exactly what you mean...

If you can, please send us a copy of the document via the Send Feedback mechanism. We can always look and see if there's something special about your document that causes it to be abnormally slow.

Thanks, I've reproduced the problem and will see if we can't fix that for an update as well.

Re: Problems with languages

I use Ancient Greek with a specific keyboard layout delivered from Linguist Software, so I need to set a new language, "Ancient Greek" with a secondary font, and a specific keyboard layout. When I close the dialogue window the settings related to the keyboard are lost. This is a bug that ...

At this point there is no way to find a footnote reference using the find directly. They are intentionally excluded from normal searches. In the future we may have a way to include/find them. As for what you can do now to work around the deficiency: 1. To find the next reference use the following ma...

Probably the best way to accomplish this is to create a table with a single cell and no borders. Set the horizontal/vertical alignment to center and stretch the cell to be size of the page.

The descenders of certain fonts being cut off in the last line of your document in Draft view is a bug that we will fix in an update. As for the scrolling, please see this post I made on the subject.

Probably Caat was using the menu Format > Character Case > Display as Small Caps . This works just like any other formatting, eg: it persists in all text you type until you remove it. Just select the menu No Case Change to turn off the small caps. You can also toggle them on/off using the Small Caps...

You could use a PowerFind capture to do the grouping Steve suggested, but really nothing so fancy is required here. Why not just use:

or(OR)ar

Where "(OR)" represents the PowerFind bubble for OR. Does that make sense?

Find and Replace '[\n\r]+', ' ', 'Esa' Replaces all double-spaces with a space. I would like it not to do that. Did you quote the wrong line of code? That line replaces one or more newlines, it does not replace any spaces, single or double. Or perhaps you meant that you wanted to preserve double-ne...

Can you please send a screenshot of the aberrant icon to our customer support address? Honestly it sounds pretty odd, and Nisus Writer may not be the source of the trouble.

Does this icon problem happen with new files that you create? Are you certain you are saving them as RTF? Also, if you open the saved file in Nisus Writer, is all your content still there?
