2.0.6: Talk about getting what you ask for! Way to go Nisus! True, true. I am reminded of my younger brother's modest foray into programming his little CPM computer (an Australian MicroBee). he was a petrol head and mechanical designer who had worked ast a pretty high level in that field, being inv...

Re: Problem (Bug?) with SHIFT + RETURN
Oh dear! Apologies, Chris. I thought it must be just a variation on the slight display oddities I've seen.
Godspeed, Martin!

Re: Problem (Bug?) with SHIFT + RETURN
I've seen an apparance bug like tis in NWP 2.0.4 and OS X.6.8. As Martin says, it is just temporary and disappears of itself.
Chris, this isn’t a Nisus bug.

Re: What is this rubbish that Zapf Dingbats won’t work in NW
Nasty Henry. And I was wrong, ITC Zapf Dinbgbats only partly works. You cannot select a single character and just change it to dingbats.

What is this rubbish that Zapf Dingbats won’t work in NWP?
X.6.8, NWP 2.0.4. I only just noticed because someone raised it on the PhotoLine forum because it doesn’t work in PhotoLine either. It works in old Canvas X and in up-to-the-minute Sandvox. Another old Dingbats font works in everything. What’s going on? Best regards Geoff Geoffrey Heard General Mana...

Re: Request for Nisus to issue more frequent NWP bug-fixes
That's not a bad idea, Cris. On the other hand, I can see people getting upset if their favorite (!) bug is not fixed in the very next bug fix. I'm just astonished at what is listed for 2.0.5. I can’t download it right at the moment -- I need to top up my expensive prepaid, slow, 3G dongle service r...

Won’t that numbering get tangled up with other numbering you might be using?

Re: A few new Nisus forums
Wot, no new forum dedicated to speculation about when NWP3 will appear? Surely that shouldn’t be "off topic"?

Drat! I could see that coming! :o Thanks, Martin, for taking the trouble to set up the example, I had worked both those out; I was just wondering whether I could get away with giving you guys some work and not doing a tiny bit myself. A moment of gross laziness, I fear, please forgive. Cheers,...

Make bullet points, numbered lists, etc. responsive to…
…the left margin of the text in which they are embedded. This has been niggling away for some time. I know I can set it up as a style, but it would be great if I didn't have to do that. What I am talking about is that I often use indented text and sometimes I want to have a few bullet points within ...

And interesting feature of Sandvox. A way forward for NWP?
I've just adopted Sandvox for website building. It is template-based so inherently limited in the variety of designs you can produce. Or so it seems. In fact, it is much more flexible than it first appears to be because it has a feature called "Code Injection" which you can apply to a page...

Re: When will we get a major upgrade of NWP?
This is the "real" Mark to let you know that in both Nisus Writer Express 3.x and Nisus Writer Pro 2.x page margins are "lockable". Choose the menu command View > Page Guides > Lock Page Guides . And, if you turn off the display of the Page Guides, Nisus Writer Pro automatically...

Re: When will we get a major upgrade of NWP?
I am very pleased with Nisus Writer Pro as it is. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, they say. It runs very smooth (e.g. when using trackpad to zoom in/out) and is quite complete. I am happy the way the UI is. I probably wouldn't be happy with a complete make-over. What would be great to see included...

Re: When will we get a major upgrade of NWP?
It also feels like the UI could use some streamlining. Maybe it is time to replace the good old palette drawer with a palette panel that will look more in place in fullscreen mode. Wonder also if the comments system could use some visual updating. And, I know I repeat my self, but split document vi...
