I'm experiencing problems reading Word docs in NWP sent to me by Windows users. These open fine in Pages, however. Also docs I export from Pages as Word files open fine in Word but get garbled in NWP.
What gives?
Pages makes use of a different Word file importer, and supports a different feature set, so there will be differences in how your document appears. What kinds of garbling are you seeing exactly? Can you send us the document?
Things like tab leaders and check boxes disappearing. On one occasion, a one-page Word flyer, which was mainly graphics, came out with some of the text on a second page, no graphics and landsape instead of portrait. That was after exporting from Pages. The original .doc file opened up blank in NWP.
