Easy way to remove table?

Post by foobar »

I have a bunch of cut-and-pasted web material (pasted in the form of many individual tables, for whatever reason) in a Nisus document. I don't care about the table structure and layout at all, and I want to be able to manipulate all the text at once. Is there an easy way to remove all the tables and deal with the text only? I don't see one.

You can either select the entire document and from the Table menu apply the 'Copy Table Text' command and then paste the text in the same document; or you can save the document as text, which will do away with the tables and retain the text. While saving as text, NWP does not append the file extension so you will have to append .txt to the file name in the Save As dialog. The file can be saved later as rtf.

When more than a single table is selected, "Copy Table Text" is grayed out. Save As -> text works nicely, though; thanks.
