Password protection

Post by Keeperia » 2007-10-11 15:04:19

Is it possible to password protect documents in Nisus Writer Pro?

If not (and I suspect it isn't, though I've only just installed it so I could be wrong  ) - then can I log a request that you great Nisus people consider adding that feature ?

So far I'm finding Nisus Writer Pro a great replacement for Word; but the lack of password protection for some of my sensitive documents might just be a deal-breaker.

As you suspect the answer is no unfortunately. However, you can easily encrypt Nisus or any other kind of documents using OS X's Disk Utility to create encrypted disk image files. There's also about a bazillion document encryption utilities available for OS X in freeware, shareware and commercial varieties.
