Opening a Word 2003 document sent by a colleague, NWP locked up requiring a Force Quit. Lots of messages like this were in the console:

Thanks for the quick help! Although a lot of assertions are still being raised, NWP did not lock up after the import and was able to show the document properly, so all's well!
