Martin, while you are looking at solving character's problem, please also pay attention to paragraph directions transfer. both neo-office for mac and office 2003 do not recognize RTL when opening nisus rtf file. I am not sure who is to blame, but it practically blocks reasonable correspondence when compatibility is required.
