Adding a bibliography after the endnotes

Okay, looking back in the Classic forums, there seemed to be a way to do this using Invisible formatting.

But now it seems that support for invisible formatting has been dropped (it is never a good idea to drop something like this, even if you think it is never being used).

So how do you add a biblography after the endnotes?

Assuming your paper has one section only so far:

1. Place the cursor at the end of the main text of your paper.
2. Switch to Style Sheet view and under Note Styles=>Endnotes at
'Place' dropdown list apply 'End of Section' (instead of 'End of
Document').
3. Switch back to Page view and insert a section break from the
Insert=>Section Break=>Next Page menu.
4. Add bibliography. It will appear after the endnotes.

A little slow, perhaps, but a follow up to this - is this formatting maintained in Word? ie, if I put my notes at the end of the section and the bibliography after it, will this still be the case if someone opens the document in Word and (yikes!) perhaps even saves it as a .doc file?

Export as Microsoft Word Format (binary) from the File menu will preserve this formatting when opened in Word; Save as Microsoft Word Format will not.

And if I send it off as an rtf to someone who then opens it with Word?

rtf will not preserve this formatting when opened in Word. In fact the save as doc saves just an rtf with doc extension.

RTF should preserve the "end of section" setting for note styles- we'll take a look at fixing that, thanks.
