Console log filling up with print errors

I thought this problem had been fixed with this release as I had no errors when printing a test document. However, today I created a new document, two pages long, and when printed it spawned hundreds of error messages in the console log: (over 3,000 for a two page document)

I guess it's back to using Pages :(

There is another thread about this problem in the Nisus Express thread.

This is not s problem with print drivers - I'm using a Canon iP4500, same thing happened with my Canon i850. All my other applications print with no problems.

I wish we could get this fixed.

I've been trying to research this problem through Google and the following site may have the answer - show this to whoever looks after the Nisus Writer code and it may help.

Thanks for the sleuthing Geoff. I don't know that's the problem in this case, but I'll have us take another look at our code. I know we investigated the issue at one point and thought we had this fixed.

Thanks for the quick response Martin. I've been doing some checking and not all documents show this problem. I recently received a document via e-mail which was sent from a PC in (I think) Word Perfect format. Nisus had problems opening it so I used NeoOffice to open it and saved it as MS Word format and Nisus was able to open it with no problem.
This document prints without any messages in the log (it has been saved within Nisus so has a "rtf" file type).

The document that does cause problems is one that I opened as a new document using one of my Nisus templates.

I could send both documents to you - they are both 2 pages long.

Martin

I've e-mailed the two files to you. Let me know if you need anything else.

I've done some testing of the new 1.3 release with files that caused the printing problem in the past and they now print with no errors in the log.

I can finally start using NWPro again - pity it took so long to fix this.

Great, I'm glad we finally resolved this issue.
