Ignore diacritics

Post by js »

Is it possible to do a find in Nisus ignoring diacritics? Like searching for deluge and finding déluge?

There's no built-in option for this, but Kino wrote a macro that we've added to the repository. Once you've installed the macro, here's how to use it:

1. Open the Find & Replace dialog.
2. Enter in your search criteria.
3. Run the macro.

Thank you. Very useful.
BTW Clicking on " a macro that we've added to the repository" seems seems to call the actual page rather than the repository?

Which is why Martin also included a link to the repository; just click on "repository" in his post to be taken to that part of the Nisus website.

You're actually both correct. My initial post just had a direct link to the macro, but I amended it to include a link to the repository as well. Sorry for the confusion.
