Hiya! I'm copyediting a 200pp manuscript and loving the upgrade allowing track changes in NWP2!
I'm aware that the track changes in NWP2 will open up nicely in Word, but I'm not keen on sending the author the actual RTF file and would much rather he mark up yays and nays on the changes by physically marking up a PDF that illustrates the changes.
I've tried saving the RTF as a PDF, but that output then has the changes already accepted so there's no way of telling what changes I've made.
I'd be very grateful for help.
Many thanks,
Can track changes in NWP 2 be exported/viewed as pdf

Re: Can track changes in NWP 2 be exported/viewed as pdf
I'm afraid NWP doesn't have such a feature, sorry about that.
It's possible we could put together a macro that converts your tracked changes to inline notes (we have such a macro for comments), but the marked up document might get messy. It would also be difficult to show formatting changes with such a system. But perhaps you'd just like to see textual changes?
