Question about the paste hyperlink feature (command-k)

When I'm searching a document that has a phrase hyperlinked, but the link is not spelled out in the text, I often want to store the URL in that link for later access. But I'm finding that when I use command-k to open the link box it is either blank or contains the link that I last copied, not the one that the phrase is supposed to link to. :x

Is there a way to see my originally stored link/hyperlink? :?

If not is there a way to request that this feature show the existing hyperlink rather than the in my "copy" memory? :drunk:

Sorry if this has been asked before. I couldn't find this topic when I searched the existing topics.

thank you,
Michele Boyer

Don't use <Command-K>. Use either the context menu> "Edit Link…" or Hyperlink > Edit Link…
