I want to copy the Nisus Toolbar from my desktop Mac to my Macbook.
What file is the Toolbar setting in? And where is that file?

The settings for the toolbar are in the preference file:What file is the Toolbar setting in? And where is that file?
Users/your home folder/Library/Preferences/com.nisus.NisusWriter.plist
If you have custom icons in the toolbar, you need to transfer them. The icons are here:
Users/your home folder/Library/Application Support/Nisus Writer Pro/Icons
You need to copy the custom icons to the corresponding folder on your Macbook so that you can drag all your favorite items into the toolbar.
Deleting or removing the preference file will also delete the file "Nisus New File.dot". Before you start experimenting with this, make sure you have a copy of both files. Also be aware that quitting Nisus and then deleting or removing the preference file will NOT show any effect until you RESTART the machine. I did this today, and at first I was surprised that nothing "happened". It was not until I restarted the machine that my old toolbar went away; and the Nisus New File had also been replaced with a fresh new one. This was OK because I had a backup.
