Placing images beyond page margins

Post by onigorom » 2015-11-01 22:56:05

how can I place images independently of the page/ text margins, so they can, say, cover the full width of the page? in other words, is there a way to lay out more freely?

By making your image a 'floating' image. Select the image and switch Placement (in the drawing palette) to "Position on Page of ¶". You can then move the image over the margins, and enlarge the image to the full width of the page, and beyond.

Depending on your situation, you might also consider setting the image as a section watermark, using the Tools menus.
