Hi all, someone has sent me a document to format and pdf, but although the page numbers are in Arabic numerals, the ToC has them in Roman. I can't find out how to change this, and there doesn't seem to be anything in the manual, the assumption being it should somehow be automatic...?

Have you tried rebuilding the TOC? If the doc had been created with Roman page numbering and the TOC was built, and then later the page numbers were changed but the TOC was not rebuilt it could result in the mismatch you have.

Otherwise like you I don't see any way of changing between Arabic and Roman other than changing the page number formatting in the Document palette and then rebuilding the TOC.

Thanks. In the end I got the document's creator to rebuild, although it probably would have worked if I'd done it, too.
