Will a future update to Nisus Writer Express also have the comments feature of Nisus Writer Pro (1.1)? Or do I really have to upgrade for this one feature...?

I can't speak for Nisus, of course, but I would be very surprised if this advanced feature got included in Nisus Writer Express.
