How to optimize speed?

NWE does not render text as fast as I can type, and it takes my attention. It does not help to use Draft view.

Anyway of optimizing it? Fonts, settings, anything?
I would love it if I could get it to render as fast as a text engine like TexEdit Plus, fx.

Have you repaired permissions after installing Nisus? Do it and you'll see how, all of a sudden, it will then be able to keep up with your typing.

No. How do I do that?

Dead easy:

Quit all open aplications

Open Disk Utility

Select your hard disk

Click on Verify Disk Permissions

When finished, click on Repair Disk Permissions

When Disk Utility finishes its stuff, launch Nisus again

Start typing

Does it keep up with your typing speed now? I'd bet it does
