I have always used the page numbering format where the first page has no number. Now all of a sudden, this does not work. How can I get it to work?
Thanks.
Page number with first page no number
Re: Page number with first page no number
In the sections palette in the Tooldrawer under Header/Footer, check ‘Different First Page’.

Re: Page number with first page no number
Do you have more than one section in your document? If so, make sure that the selection/caret rests in the first section of the document when you change the setting- the "first page" refers to the first page of the active section, not the whole document.
Re: Page number with first page no number
No, I don't have sections (at least not that I know--how would I find out?). This always worked seamlessly before.
Re: Page number with first page no number
You can view section breaks by checking 'Show Invisibles' from the View menu; or you can use the following expression in the 'Find what' box of PowerFind Pro:
\u000c
\u000c
Re: Page number with first page no number

Re: Page number with first page no number
Can you send us the file so we can have a look and see what the problem could be? Just use the menu Help > Send Feedback to and attach a copy of your document, thanks.
