Hello to all,
From one COPY, of a text (length) in PDF, formated in column of the type: (example)
"J'ai un problème pour coller du texte,
je souhaiterai supprimer les retours à
la ligne, d'origine..."
I shall wish to modify the formatting (layout) of origin by deleting (eliminating) the " returns in the line " of the original text, in PDF to obtain: (example)
"J'ai un problème pour coller du texte, je souhaiterai supprimer les retours à la ligne, d'origine..."
With Nisus with the option: " to stick only the text " the formatting (layout) of origin is kept (preserved).
Thank you for your answers.
Formatting(Layout): delete(eliminate) " return in the line "

I'm not sure how to strip the returns within the copy & paste process, but it would be possible to find and replace them after the paste.
Using the powerfind expression "\n" for the return and then using a space in the replace with box you can remove each of the unnecessary returns. (These special characters are found by selecting the "gear" on the Find/Replace window and selecting Special Characters).

Hi,
the easiest solution is to download DEVON Technology's free Word Services. Install them, and they should be available in the Services menu of any Cocoa application, such as Nisus Writer Pro, TextEdit, and Mail. Restart your Mac, then select the text in Nisus Writer Pro and click on Nisus Writer Pro>Services>Format>Reformat. This should remove the line endings.

You can also select the text in NWP and use the menu Macro > Changing Text > Form Paragraph.
