clutter at bottom of screen

Is there any way to customize, move or remove the row of tiny multicolored icons in the lower right of the screen? I would rather have some of that functionality in the toolbar, and have the option to hide things like the language attribute which I very rarely use.

Hi Derick, I'm afraid not. Those icons (we call them "tags") are not customizable in any way. Adding that flexibility is something we have filed as a feature request, but I couldn't say when you might see it added.
