New Doc without ToolBar & Ruler

Post by bjast »

Is there a way to open a new doc in draft mode without the Toolbar, and the Ruler?

Thanks

1) Set up such a document.

2) If you want to use it as your starting document all the time, save it as a .dot file (Document Template format) named Nisus New File to User/Library/Application Support/Nisus.

3) If you want to use it only some of the time, save it as a .dot file named whatever you like to User/Documents/Nisus Documents so you can launch it from the Document Manager.

Best regards, Geoff

To elaborate a bit on Geoff's help:

You can hide the rulers and toolbar via the View menu, eg: View > Hide Rulers.
2) If you want to use it as your starting document all the time, save it as a .dot file (Document Template format) named Nisus New File to User/Library/Application Support/Nisus.
It may be less error prone to enter your Nisus Writer preferences, switch to the "New File" area, click the "Advanced" tab, and finally click the "Edit Nisus New File" button. Edit the opened file as you please and then save it. New files you create will now have whatever settings you applied.
