Feature Request: Split View & Footnotes

Appreciate the 2.0 update.

It would be very helpful to see footnotes in one pane while still working on the document in another. Kicking out to page view is disorienting and and also prevents easy referral back to the text near the footnote reference while editing the footnote itself (without zooming out to a full page with small text).

Relatedly, I would find it useful if NWP could show all footnote text and then navigate to the footnote reference in the main document when one is selected.

Also relatedly, I suppose this could be wrapped into a request for a split view to see more than one part of a document at the same time.
