Hi,
Is there a way to automatically count the number of lines, as a word count counts the number of words? In MS Word if I select statistics it will show me the number of words and lines, and if I highlight a section it shows me the number of lines in that section.
I have a document that is 600 pages long, so View-->Line Numbers is not so useful; I want to know the number of lines, not the line number.
Thank you.

Re: Line Counter
We don't have this feature built-in, but the attached macro will report the number of lines currently selected. Note that counting always considers how the text would be laid out in Page View, not the current document view.

Worked like a charm. Thank you. Could it not be worked into document statistics for a future release of Nisus?

Re: Line Counter
That's a possibility; I'll file it as a feature request. Thanks!
