Nisus logo on forum page-header

Post by xiamenese »

Am i right in thinking you've replaced your logo with one adapted for retina displays or something? I've just noticed it looks ghastly on my late 2010 13" MBA, screen resolution 1440 x 900.

The jagged look is actually just a result of the logo combining poorly with your forum theme's background color. The default theme "Hestia Blue" does not have this problem.

We've gone ahead and swapped in a slightly different logo for the prosilver/subsilver themes, so you don't see the ugly jaggies anymore. Thanks for letting us know!

Thanks Martin. I've been part of the Nisus forums for so long now with always the same theme, to the point where I no longer realised I must have chosen it and could set it to something different. But that was the first time I noticed the jaggies.

The recently appearing jaggies was our fault, or rather, occurred as a result of trying to fix the recent problem with forum polls. It was an incompatibility between a recent forum/phpBB package update and older versions of the styles/themes. Well, even the most up-to-date version of the "Hestia Blue" style had the non-functional poll problem, but a few edits to a PHP file solved that one.

Anyways, probably that's all not particularly interesting :P
Thanks for participating on the forums and being engaged in feedback for so long Mark! We love having such a great set of responsive and helpful users.
