A text color can not be changed in draft view of full screen

Post by tomoyuki-kosaka »

I noticed that in draft view of full screen mode, a text color is not changed. Always become black.
This situation can be solved when I switch to page view.
I'm using NWP 2.1.4 on macosx 10.11.4
Is there another one suffering this situation?
I hope to know the solution.

I'm sorry you're having trouble with your customized colors in Nisus Writer. Normally if you enter full screen mode when in Draft View your custom full screen colors should be used automatically.

Do you have a dark color applied to your document's text? Any manually applied coloring will not be changed when you enter full screen mode. For example, if you make a single word bright blue, that word will always show as blue, no matter what view or mode you use. So perhaps this might be the cause of your trouble.

I see. That come from custom color of full screen.
So, I'd like to use as like as usual window mode.
Is there any good setting about the full screen color?

And why the setting does not affect to the Page view mode?

This problem is draft view specifically occurring. (Not come from custom colors.)
You can confirm this when you compare between draft and page views in full screen mode.
Please change the colors using character styles. (So this is probably character style problem)
I'm using NWP 2.1.7 in macOS 10.12.3

I'm not sure I understand exactly. You can customize your text and backgrounds colors. Here's how:

1. Open your Nisus Writer preferences.
2. Switch to the "Appearance" pane.
3. Look at the bottom, under "Customizable colors".
4. Click the category "Document Views".

There you can adjust many colors, including Draft View and Full Screen.

If I misunderstood you, please let me know.
