crashes; can't put icon in dock

Nisus 3 crashed a couple of times, once on opening, then when I tried to explore the preferences. In addition, I can't put the Nisus 3 icon in the dock. The only way I could get around it was to drag a shortcut to the desktop then copy that into the dock.

I’m not sure what’s going on there, but I’d suggest you first restart your computer. If that doesn’t fix things, try reinstalling NWP. Also, it’s probably a good idea to include details of your computer and operating system in such postings, as it may help others to elucidate the cause of the problem.

Tom contacted us privately and I believe things are working properly for him now. It was all very strange. I don't know why the Dock would refuse an app icon. It's not something we really have any control over. The Dock's behavior is entirely up to Apple and the Mac system.

Yes, I got some good help on the dock issue, and there haven't been any more crashes, and I have loved Nisus for some years and continue to.
