In NW 3.0.2 callout rounded speech box becomes text box after save & quit

I upgraded to the latest version, NW 3.0.2, and now my callout rounded speech box becomes a text box after I save and quit the document and reopen it. For my work I often need to use a rounded speech box. Is anyone else having this problem? I'm using OS 10.14.5. Thanks!

I can confirm your observed behavior. It appears to be a bug.

This indeed appears to be a new bug introduced by version 3.0.2. I'm sorry for the trouble. We'll investigate and hopefully have a fix ready for the next software update.

In the meantime I don't think there's a good way to workaround the problem, aside from reverting to the prior app version. If you need to do so, you can download older versions from our Nisus Writer Pro version archives.
