Nisus 3.4 on Sequoia 15.0.1 - Unable to load synchronized preference settings

Hi,

After upgrading to macOS Sequoia (15.0 and 15.0.1), Nisus Pro 3.4 cannot load or save preferences from a synchronized folder. It was working fine before.

The folder is accessible, and I can read all files and subfolders on Finder and QuickLook.

See the attached screenshots of the Nisus error message that appears multiple times.

Has anyone else faced this?

I have the same problem with macOS Tahoe 26.0.1 after a problem with access passwords. I had to change the password from another user, and after this, Nisus 3.4.1 was unable to load preferences and synchronized folder. Yesterday I sent a message to Nisus Support, but for now without any response..

I noticed that Beurlen and anupam are using Nisus Writer Pro 3.4. Last November, there was an update to Nisus Writer Pro Version 3.4.1. If you haven't updated yet, you may want to give it a try. Information located on last official Nisus blog.

As a matter of fact, I had a similar problem many, many years ago, but I didn't remember exactly what I did. So I will save the link to the procedure for the future... I hope I will not have to face the same situation.

When it comes to mission-critical instructions, I strongly recommend saving the content in full as soon as possible rather than relying on the functioning of a link at some time in the future. This is particularly relevant to Nisus adherents in these uncertain times.

It would be very reassuring to hear you got an answer.

So far, I haven't received a response from either of the two addresses (dave@nisus.com; support@nisus.com).

I don't know if Dave is still active... But the support address should be working.
I don't have Martin's email address.

But, as I mentioned, deleting the folder User/Library/Container/Nisus Writer Pro solved the problem.
