I pretty much never buy software from the Apple Store if it's also available directly from the software company. Apps from the App Store are often limited compared to software bought directly from the source, so to speak.

In case you did not already see, Joe Kissell wrote a good article about NWP on the TidBITS forum:

I had some huge difficulties to login to the forum earlier today. Didn’t manage to login through my computer, and the password reset didn’t work at all. When I tried to login through my phone, it was no problem at all using the old password. Strange.

Hi all still with us –

I too couldn't "Login" the days after –

but found out today, I still can "Login" with the Option "Remember Me" selected!

I will stay "Log[ed]in" now – there is still hope for some miracle to come…

All the Best
Elbrecht

Thanks for the tip. Login finally worked for me with both "remember me" and "hide my status" checked.

Eyal Redler, who with his brother founded Mellel, has announced a crossgrade sale on Mellel for Nisus users. His offer is respectful and complimentary of Nisus. In support conversations with him I've found Eyal to be a friendly guy, so his warm tone wasn't a surprise.

For any interested, the Mellel offer can be found at https://mellel.com/blog/nisus-to-mellel-crossgrade/.

i am not associated with Mellel other than having used it for a few years.
