Hello,
I'm new to this forum as well as to Nisus Writer Pro.
I have a question: whenever I start a new document Different Headers and Different Footers checkmarks are dimmed. Being a new document there is only one section so, do I have to start a new section to have different headers and or footers?
How does it work?

Hello Armando, and welcome to Nisus.

You are correct. If you want to have one header run from page 1 - 20, and then a different header from page 21 - 40, then you will need to insert a section break at the bottom of page 20. This will give you a new section and those buttons will become active.

A single section will allow for a different header on the first page, and for alternating headers on odd/even pages. To change the content of the headers, make sure you are in Page View and then just click into the header area.

All the same is true for footers as well.
