Page break associated with style

I see that this was discussed four (!) years ago

https://nisus.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f ... yle#p27992

is it still not a thing?

I want each of my 194 short chapters to start on a new page, but I don't want to use sections and do it manually.

I know that Word lets me 'start on a new page'

Is that still missing from Nisus?

Thanks for the update.

I believe this arrived in version 3. In the Paragraph Palette, expand the Grouping section. There’ll, you find an option for “Ensure Break before ¶”.

That's exactly right, this feature was added in version 3. Aside from the aforementioned palette, you'll also find options for this on the main menu Format > Paragraph. There are two related options:

• Ensure Page Break Before Paragraph
• Force Page Break Before Paragraph

The latter option to "force" a break will always add a page break before the paragraph. The option to "ensure" a break will only add a page break if the paragraph doesn't already start on a new page.
