Lost link with NWP settings

Good morning,

I have just had to reset my login key chain. Before doing so I saved my most important passwords, but a few minor glitches appear. Please help me with this one. I get this message when I open a doc in NWP:

Errors:
• There was an error accessing your synchronized settings. Folder location:
~/iCloud/Nisus Writer Settings

The actual path is
/Users/me/Library/Mobile Documents/com~apple~CloudDocs/Nisus Writer Settings

I suspect that Apple changed the path at some point and put a link in the key chain and this may occur with some other app.
How do I reestablish the link with the settings? I hope I don't have to put my pants on to fix this.

Edgar

Good morning Edgar. I'm not sure what kind of shuffling Apple did with your keychain or iCloud, but you can probably correct the issue by reselecting the desired synchronized settings folder. Here's how:

1. Open your Nisus Writer preferences to the General pane.
2. Click the popup button after "synchronized settings location" to show its contextual menu.
3. Choose the desired folder again, eg: the "Nisus Writer Settings" folder in iCloud.

You may be prompted to confirm the folder in a standard file selection dialog. That's the system's way of ensuring you want Nisus Writer to have access to that folder. It's a security feature of sandboxing.
