Speech failure

I updated Sequoia last week and since then the text to speech function has failed to function.

Speech begins not at the insertion point but at the beginning of the document. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

I have updated to Nisus 3.4.1 but the bug in Text to Speech remains. Instead of speaking from the insertion point, Nisus starts speaking from the beginning of the document.
