line spacing

Post by rricks1 »

I am brand new to Nisus. I find the line spacing a bit confusing. Can I not just set "single space" or "double space" or whatever and have it reflected in the entire document? When I set for example "1 lin", between paragraphs seems to have a different spaceing as compared to within paragraphs. Is it necessary to select each portion of the document and space it?

I have reviewed help and the User's Guide, but they don't seem to be helping me much. Thanks.

Also, If I am doing something wrong in my submission, please forgive. First time. RR1

The spacing between paragraphs is the line spacing you have set, plus any additional paragraph spacing. You can change the paragraph spacing using the Paragraph palette. If you set both "before" and "after" spacing to zero you should achieve the effect you want.
