I have Nisus Writer Express set to start with a new document in page mode.

The problem is it always starts at 120% zoom, which is too small on my 20in iMac screen, and I always have to click and resize straight away.

Is there any way to make it start at a higher zoom level?

Open your Nisus New File (dot file) to edit it.
Set the zoom level you want.
Save the dot file.
Nisus New File can be edited from Preferences=>New Document=>Advanced=>Edit File... Then every new file you create will open with the new zoom level.
