Bookmark description changes.
I started bookmarking a document (list numbers). However, I did not provide descriptions. Can I change the bookmark descriptions after it has been entered and used?

I am afraid there is no command to edit bookmarks yet. I have made this feature request. As a workaround you can do the following:
Supposing your bookmark description appears in the Navigator like this:

2.
3.
Double-click on the first bookmark description and apply the 'Add Bookmark As' command from the menu. A selected '1.' will appear. Write over it the new description you want. Do the same with the other bookmark descriptions. When you finish, your old bookmark description will still be there. So in the Navigator the old bookmark description and the new one will appear like this:
New Description of 1.
1.
New Description of 2.
2.
New Description of 3
3.
Select the text of the document containing bookmarks and apply the 'Remove Bookmark' command from the menu. This will brig up a pane with all old and new bookmark descriptions relating to the selected text. They will all be selected. Command-click to deselect new bookmark descriptions and press 'Remove'. The old descriptions will be removed and the Navigator will just show the new ones:
New Description of 1.
New Description of 2.
New Description of 3
