resizing .png

Imported a .png by drag and drop into a file, then attempted to resize it by dragging those little blue boxes. Futile. Nothing moves. Is this me or Nisus Pro?
Resizing an image should work just fine. What exactly happens when you try to drag the corner hotspot?
