A simple question: is it possible to keep the styles column of the styles sheet also open in Page View, and to keep it there at the same place (i.e. to the left of the document, as for instance in Pages)?

I know that in Page View one can call up the styles drawers with the buttons in the right bottom corner, but these drawers close down as soon as one returns from the drawers to the document itself, and I would like to keep them open as long as I like. But I can't figure out how to do that.

It is not possible to have two views open at the same time for the same document, but if you want to have access to styles in the Style Sheet while in Page view, you can switch to the writing palette set in the Tooldrawer or have the floating Styles palette which you can place anywhere.
